Pasco City Official Arrested for Embezzlement

Detectives arrested Michael A. Goins 36 of Richland for theft after an investigation determined he embezzled funds over a long period of time from the Downtown Pasco Development Authority. He was the Executive Director.

This is still an active investigation and the total amount taken from the Downtown Pasco Development Association is yet to be determined. The DPDA Executive Board has cooperated fully with the investigation and no other suspects are believed to be involved.

Mr. Goins was booked into the Franklin County Correction Center this afternoon. (source: pasco PD facebook page)
