Park Profile: Beverly Heights Playground
I found a new park this week. It’s in the south west corner of OLD Richland west of Fred Myer. It had a very nice climbing toy my kids were big fans of.
Although the swings were relatively short, they were well greased and I will argue they are the best swings for adults in the Tri-Cities. I don’t recall seeing park benches. If there was one, it was only one. But the trees were large and the grass was nice. An old softball dugout was set into one corner of the park. There was a drinking fountain, but the pressure was bad. I recommend this park for picnics or just letting kids play. It would be OK for softball or baseball practice or a pick-up soccer game. I don’t recommend it for a family reunion or birthday party. The best feature of this park is how secluded it is.
