The 2012 Olympic Games have begun!

Rain greeted fans who crowded Olympic Stadium in England as the show kicked off. Because of the 8-hour time difference, we will be watching Friday night after the ceremonies already happened. Unless you have cable, you can’t watch online. NBC has made it clear they own the rights to the games, and thousands of Internet would be viewers around the world have not been able to watch. NBC had advertised that you could watch real-time events as they happen on the Internet, but you have to have a cable subscription. They didn’t tell anyone that while they were advertising the events.
