A Newport Oregon man was arrested for DUI not once, but twice in one night. How does this happen you ask? Officers pulled over that man, Paul Frank Brinkerhoff, before 9pm on Saturday because he could not stay in his lane while driving and then arrested him for DUI after failing a sobriety test according to news reports. He was booked and then released to another individual after 1am in the morning and then just after a sergeant saw Brinkerhoff's car driving erratically and pulled it over.

The sergeant found Paul Frank Brinkerhoff behind the wheel with the person who picked him up in the passenger seat. He failed another field sobriety test and was arrested again for DUI. This time he received a additional charge of reckless driving and bail of $45,000. Tests confirm that he was not drunk but high on"multiple drug categories" according to a drug recognition expert.
