My Portland Food Truck Experience ‘Cartlandia’
If your travels take you through Portland Oregon in the near future and you LOVE unique food than ‘Cartlandia’ is a must do food cart pod…
We visited on Easter Sunday so several of the carts were closed however we were able to try 3 different carts and took home a dozen Voodoo Doughnuts!
My Favorite was:
The newest cart to open at Cartlandia in June 2016. Joey has created a new menu – Indian Hispanic fusion – with local organic nonGMO ingredients . #Vegetarian dishes
I had Tiki Chicken Masala served in a Taco…was awesome because it was indian/taco delishiness and was only $3 bucks!
Cartlandia is described as:
A bike-centric food cart super pod with over 28 international food carts, a family-friendly beer garden under the big tent and The Blue Room Bar and restaurant, a full service bar with 18 beers on tap and full menu. Live music on Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays and Sunday . You are welcome to take the food from food carts into beer garden or bar (with beverage purchase). Indoor bathrooms, covered and outdoor patio seating, ATM, big screen TVs, plenty of parking on lot for cars and bikes. We are dog and pet friendly and also allow horses in certain areas.
Located at: 8145 SE 82nd Ave. where the Springwater Corridor Bike Trail crosses SE 82nd. Only 1/2 mile N. of Johnson Creek Blvd. Take Johnson Creek exit off I-205 Freeway.
Open 7 days a week
Another bonus…The Voodoo Doughnut Cart.…all the Voodoo and NO LINE!
