My Experience with Amazon ‘Prime!’ Just FYI

I was ordering on Amazon.com a while back and I think it's said click here for free shipping and I clicked and it was 'Amazon Prime" and somehow I actually signed up for it!

I guess it's some kind of a credit card, because about 3 weeks later I got a credit card bill in the mail from CHASE Bank I think. And it had a charge of $99. For Amazon Prime!

I freaked and of course, went online to Amazon and followed the instructions to cancel. And then I called them to make SURE it was cancelled. They were super nice on the phone and said my account would be credited almost immediately. When I called Chase bank, they had already seen the cancelled membership and said the acct was at zero balance.

So, unless I find a back lash down the road, I think it was pretty easy to cancel. I just didn't want any extra charges like that to deal with.

I I recently read though that if you do decide to be a member not only do you have access to all kinds of movies and music, but you also will get to watch videos free of charge on Jet Blue Flights! So for lots of reasons, I guess it could be a good deal! So do more than I did and research it a little.
