My Boy Has Joined the Service! He Starts March 11

I've been talking for months about my son who wanted to join the Air Force and train to be a parajumper. He finally committed, signed the paperwork and was accepted! He starts March 11 and I'm so proud.

I'll worry constantly, of course, but I'm so excited for the growth this will bring. The service turns boys into men and I'm so glad he's chosen to serve his country and make a big commitment.

He's chosen to begin training for the Air Force parajumpers and it's a tough program. It will stretch him and I hope I've prepared him with enough character. It will be a great adventure.
