Columbia Basin College is home to the first high school team in Washington to be awarded the prestige of being part of the 20th Annual Great Moonbuggy Race. The "SpaceHawks" were admitted after building a prototype with PVC pipes and bicycle parts and submitting it as an entry. Each moon buggy will have to fit into a 4'x4'x4' cube before assembly and it must also go over rough, unpredictable terrain.
