Man in Trouble for Not Revealing Buried Body Because He’s in Jail for Another Murder
Remember the story of Natalee Holloway, the young girl who disappeared in Aruba? You may remember that she was last seen with Joran van der Sloot, who is widely believed to be her killer, but was never charged. Maybe you also recall that exactly five years later ON THE SAME DATE he killed another young girl in Peru -- and got caught! Well, he's now in trouble for a THIRD CRIME!!!
The Aruba authorities gave up on the case in 2007 and last-ditch efforts to find the girl's body were abandoned in 2008.
Apparently before his arrest in 2010 in Peru the Holloway family gave him $25,000 cash to show a lawyer where he buried Natalee's body.
From what I understand it was kind of like, "Look, we know you killed her, we know you'll never be punished for it, at least let us have her body back."
But because of his arrest, he could never show where the body is!
So last week the Peruvian government agreed to extradite van der Sloot when he's released from prison in 2038 to the United States to face charges of extortion! How weird is that!
It gets weirder. In between the two murders van der Sloot was suspected of being involved in the sex trafficking business in Thailand -- remember that movie "Taken"?
