Man Catches Yard on Fire Trying to Extinguish Gophers

I really couldn't believe my eyes when I read this story yesterday on the KEPR web site...Their headline read "Man trying to torch gophers starts 20-acre grass fire, firefighters say" REALLY...

All I could this of was the classic movie 'Caddy Shack'

The unnamed man was literally trying to torch a gopher hole when things quickly got out of control...he ended up burning 20-25 acres of his property and a travel trailer in his quest to kill the pesky rodent. Benton County Fire Districts #1,4 and 5 assisted and quickly extinguished the flames...

My advise to homeowners with pests...call the exterminator
