Let's start with the Bad news....A major Thunderstorm is headed toward Eastern Washington and Oregon later this afternoon which could possible spark fires according to the National weather service...now the good news...

It will probably completely miss the Tri-Cities..whew. Here's the message from the NWS:

A cold front will be moving through the pacific northwest on Wednesday…triggering scattered thunderstorms over the mountains from Central Oregon northeast through the Blue Mountains of Oregon and Washington. The thunderstorms will be accompanied by abundant lightning and gusty outflow winds creating dangerous fire weather conditions.
