Prosser, Washington native Kellen Moore will soon be watching the NFL draft along with the rest of America. Thursday night the first round of the draft begins and continues through Saturday.

Football quarterback Moore recently completed his college career at Boise State with a 50-3 record and is the current all-time record holder for wins by a starting quarterback in the NCAA Division.

Within the last week writer for NFL.com, Marc Sessler noted that the Broncos determined to find a successor for Manning named Moore among others who they have been watching as a possible candidate for draft.

Other chatter on the web has suggested that Moore's height of 6ft might hinder his chances in the draft.

I don't claim to understand the intricacies of the draft, but I do know that I will be watching eagerly hoping for our local star Kellen Moore.
