During the last three months of 2014 two World World II movies come out that EVERY man wants to see.

"Fury" is the story of a veteran tank commander (played by Brad Pitt) who fought in North Africa, then Italy and now in Germany. He is assigned a green replacement who jeopardizes the safety of his crew. Then in a critical moment in the Battle of the Bulge, the tank is assigned to hold back several hundred German soldiers by themselves. When the tank breaks, their commitment to duty, loyalty to the commander and resolve to fight will be tested. Shia LaBeouf also stars along with several more recognizable faces. It is expected in theaters in November, if not earlier.

"Unbroken" is due out just before Christmas. It's the nonfiction story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner in the Berlin Olympics who flew bombers in the Pacific Theater. When his plane goes down, he's lost at sea for months until rescued by the Japanese Navy, who abuse him in prison camps and take advantage of him for propaganda. Zamperini's "unbroken" spirit running, fighting and surviving has been inspiring Americans since the end of the war. Angelina Jolie is directing and the Coen Brothers are writing the screen play. The adaptation is of a book written by the same nonfiction author who wrote "Seabiscuit."
