Kennewick Gunfire Near 10th Avenue

On 05/06/18 at 2:10 am Kennewick Police responded to a handgun being fired in the parking lot of 1114 W. 10TH Ave (Heather Stone Apartments). Upon police arrival witnesses stated that a male and female had been in an argument and a rifle was seen being held to the females head. When witnesses tried to intervene the male exited the vehicle and fired a handgun into the parking lot.

The male and female fled on foot eastbound through the apartment complex. KPD believes the female is in danger, and police haven’t been able to find them. KPD is actively looking for victim Cristina Rodriguez (29 years old, 5’04, 136 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. The male will be Saul Castaneda (26 years old, 5’10, 230 lbs, black hair and brown eyes).

The vehicle the two were originally in was recovered by police. Two vehicles associated with Saul Castaneda and Cristina Rodriguez are a gray 2011 BMW 528  and a gray 2008 BMW 328.

Kennewick Police is asking for the public’s assistance with trying to locate Cristina Rodriguez.
