Justin Moore’s ‘Outlaws Like Me’ Album Goes Gold
Justin Moore has a new reason to tip a cold one back and celebrate after learning that his sophomore album, ‘Outlaws Like Me,’ has been certified gold for sales exceeding 500,000 copies.
After its initial release, ‘Outlaws Like Me’ topped the country albums chart, as did its lead single, ‘If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.’ The tune became the singer-songwriter’s fastest-rising single to date, reaching the top of the charts back in the summer of 2011.
“It’s incredibly humbling to have ‘Outlaws’ earn us a gold record,” says Moore. “God has been great, and I can’t say thank you enough to Him and all of the people in my life who have helped to make this possible. It’s taken everyone from my family, friends, label, manager, producer, band and those who work behind the scenes. I also want to say a huge thank you to country radio for showing their support for me from the word go. To my fans, you’ve been so good to me over the years… thank you!”
He adds, “I can’t wait to get new music out for everyone soon.”
Other singles from Moore’s ‘Outlaws Like Me’ project include his Top 20 hit ‘Bait a Hook’ and his most recent single, ”Til My Last Day,’ which is currently Top 10 and continuing to climb.
