Jason Aldean should start counting down the days to October 16, when the singer’s next album, ‘Night Train,’ will be ready for the purchasing. Unfortunately, that’s still a few months away. But the good news is, fans of the ‘Fly Over States’ hitmaker can get a sneak peek of his new tunes when he takes them to the internet through David Letterman’s ‘Live on Letterman’ webcast.

Aldean will play songs from his entire award-winning career on the popular webcast, but fans will probably be most excited to hear a preview of tunes from his upcoming album. The concert will take place live on Wednesday September 5 at 9 PM ET at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City, and it will stream live on the CBS JumboTron in Times Square, CBS.com, VEVO and several mobile applications.

The award-winning webcast has surpassed 120 million views to date on CBS.com and VEVO. The program has hosted some of the most established bands and musicians across the globe — including Carrie Underwood — in an intimate and dynamic setting for worldwide followers to enjoy.

In addition to prepping himself for the upcoming ‘Live on Letterman’ gig, Aldean has been working to promote the music video from the album’s first single, ‘Take a Little Ride.’ The talented singer and performer achieved a career-high single debut when he released the song and it landed at No. 19 on the country chart. As if that’s not keeping him busy enough, the ‘My Kinda Party’ singer is touring through the end of October.

The ‘Live on Letterman’ webcast will air right after Aldean finishes taping a performance for ‘The Late Show With David Letterman,’ which will air on the following night, Thursday September 6 at 11:35PM ET. If you play your cards right, you can catch the Grammy-winning artist on back-to-back nights.
