In Honor of Fiery Foods Festival, The Dude With Food Presents: Stuffed Jalapenos

The Fiery Foods Festival is this Saturday in downtown Pasco near 4th and Lewis.

We'll be there and I'll be trying everything! I love hot food. One of my favorite snacks is a stuffed jalapeno -- they're a huge hit at parties. Here's what I do:

1 jar of whole, pickled jalapenos -- slice them in half, remove the seeds, pat dry with a towel.

1 container of Price's Pimiento Cheese Spread

Smear the cheese in generously. The pimiento creates a wonderful flavor with the cheddar, and then the cheddar mixes beautifully with the jalapeno.

Pictured above is this done with fresh jalapeno. And it looks as if they're preparing to bake it -- all combinations of this are good. I highly recommend it.
