I May Have Shot My Pinkie, But a Benton City Man Shot Himself in the Leg!

Authorities are investigating a situation that occurred around 7 p.m. on Wednesday just off Rupport Road. A man in his 50s went into a field behind his house for target practice and apparently shot himself in the upper thigh. This story may be funny to some, but I among the few who have shot themselves... and I still think it's funny.KNDU reports the man fired off a few rounds and then began screaming for his wife. Neighbors ran out to help and found the man injured.

As much as I want to crack a joke, I find myself muted by my own track record. You see, not long ago while living in Alaska I shot myself in the hand. I was lucky, and I learned my lesson.
