Have you ever tried wiping WD-40 on your hazy headlamps? It does clear them up some...for a day or two.

How about those quick fix gels and liquids in a bottle that promise long lasting results. Nah. Same as WD-40.

I bought the Meguiar's kit that comes with two different "lotions" and a hand held sander with multiple grits but it was a whole lot of elbow grease for minimal results, at least in my case. And I like Meguiar's a lot for car waxes and such.

But I got supreme results using POWER! The 3M product in the pic is great! Since it requires a power drill, you'll need a steady hand. I did slightly scratch my paint using this....because I was too lazy to tape it off (not sure that would've helped).

You can also "burn or melt" the plastic on your headlamps if you go full speed on your drill. That won't buff out so remember low speed and back and forth...

I got my 3M product at Harbor Freight. I've found that you'll need to re-do your lamps every 6-9 mos. as they do haze up again eventually.
My 3M stuff finally ran out and I went back for another but they were only carrying a very similar Pittsburgh product brand...basically the same thing but I haven't used it yet.

What a difference clear headlights make driving at night!!!
