I have a guy friend that I met a few months ago that told me he was trying to get a 100 mile race under his belt. He's 57 years old and in fantastic shape! He has entered a few 50 mile runs and is aspiring to make the 100!

At first I thought this is totally INSANE! Who does that??? Then I find out that plenty of people are actively running LONG runs like that!

Pretty bazaar to me as I recently started running on Thanksgiving Day and have been doing between 3 1/2 -5 miles is all. I can't imagine running 100 miles! But Here is the scoop! Click the button to find out more about this very cool event!
