Home Town Profile – Umatilla

Umatilla Is a small town with the population of around 7,000 located in the northeastern corner of Oregon. Umatilla got its first post office in September of 1851and later became a trading post during the gold rush in 1860-1870s where it stood until the 1880s when it got overrode by the Oregon railway and Navigation company. Today, Umatilla is an agriculture based town and home to McNary Industrial Park.
