He Had A Dream

Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister, civil rights activist and a true leader of African-Americans. The work he started in the early 60's continues today, as we celebrate Mr Kings birthday(observed every third Monday in January, actual birthday is Jan.15th) As part of this celebration locally, there will be a Martin Luther King Jr. bell ringing ceremony today at noon, at the King statue at Columbia Basin College. Superior Court  Judge, Cameron Mitchell will be named the Spirit Award Winner this year.[click here] Judge Mitchell is well respected in the community, and among the people he works with.
