If you're feeling a bit congested, eyes watering, or you have a scratchy throat this morning, it may be due to the fires over the Spokane area that were burning Sunday. The fires were located near the Beacon Hill area which local authorities had to evacuate. Several homes were lost to the flames. There were also Yale Road fires and Wellsley fires which added 4,000 and 250 acres burned in those areas.

The massive plumes of smoke were impossible to miss over Lake Coeur d'Alene in Idaho, which made for some incredible (yet frighting) images. Check out the images and video I caught below. It was actually snowing ash all the way to Coeur d'Alene! Though some livestock was lost, thankfully no there have been no casualties reported.
