Don’t Miss Grapestompede on Saturday in Kennewick

Historic Downtown Kennewick is hosting a day of family fun! The Grapestompede is a free event for the whole family Saturday, Sept. 8 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. This event will have over 46 vendors, a chalk art contest, live entertainment, and of course, the grape stomping.

Event Schedule:

At 7:30am will be the always popular Grape Crush Rush featuring a 1 mile and 5k fun; this event has been growing every year and last year consisted of over seventy five runners. Fee is $10 for the run.
10:00 to 10:30am the Teddy Bear Parade will take place. This event will start at Visiting Angel and parade through the downtown and finishing with a kid’s activities center at Centennial Flag Plaza and a Chalk Art Contest for a variety of ages.
Also at 10am the Grape Stomp will take place. This is an event in which three person teams will stomp grapes in wooden wine barrels. Each member of the team will stomp for one minute. The winners of each round will stomp again at 2pm in the final for prizes. Fee is $30 per team for the Grape Stomp.
