We always put our black cat inside during Halloween to make sure nothing bad happened.
A lot of animal shelters actually put restrictions on adopting black cats during October. This is partly to keep them safe from any crazy rituals, but also to prevent them from being abandoned after the holiday is over. Cats aren’t props!
