For the seventh consecutive year, Taco Bell hooked up with Major League Baseball for the "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion where the first stolen base of the fall classic would be good for a free Doritos Locos Taco at participating Taco Bell locations.

Well, the promotion was a done deal in the bottom of the FIRST inning of Game One. Red Sox lead off hitter Mookie Betts got aboard fter Dodger first baseman David Freese could not handle a foul territory pop up to record the out. Mookie then singled and on the first pitch to the next batter, he channeled his inner Speedy Gonzalez and easily swiped second as the throw skipped on into center field.

And there you have it. Steal a base, steal a taco, done.

Participating Taco Bell locations will allow redemption of the promotion on Thursday November 1st from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and no purchase is necessary. One free Doritos Locos Taco per person, per location.
