The Washington Dept. of Fish & Wildlife is having a cyber security problem and suspended the sale of all hunting and fishing licenses until it's worked out. Facing outrage, the Department announced today no fishing licenses would be required through Tuesday, Aug. 30 while the problem is worked out!

Fishers are still required to obey state fishing regulations such as limits and type of bait allowed.

Hunters will have to wait, but most seasons begin in September anyway -- by which time the problem should be solved.

You're welcome to fish for salmon and even collect shellfish like clams, crabs and crayfish!
