Monday morning, the National Weather Service released this Air Quality statement:

"...AIR QUALITY ALERT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PDT THURSDAY...

The Washington State Department of Ecology has issued an Air Quality
Alert...in effect until noon PDT Thursday for the following counties
in central, south central and southeast Washington:

Benton
Columbia
Franklin
Kittitas
Klickitat

Yakima

Unhealthy air will be common at times across central, south

Local and regional weather officials say if our prevailing winds will shift back to more normal conditions
It will greatly help our air quality. Until that happens, we're stuck. This picture was taken from our parking lot around
