I heard myself say these words the other day as I spoke to a friend I said "I hate to admit it, but I'd rather dig a ditch in the rain than sit in front of a computer all day! Now, the truth be told...I LOVE my job! So this doesn't mean I want to start digging ditches for a living!

But, I will tell you this! I ABSOLUTELY feel 1000% better, if I spend time outdoors EVEN if the weather is bad! There is something about nature, and the outdoors that is good for our mind, body and soul. And I guess that's why I love to ride my horse, and hike and jog etc.

I read today that a study done from the University of Rochester scientists found that people who spent at least 20 minutes a day outdoors felt up to 20% more physical energy! And I absolutely agree! On the days that I get my 45 minute run in..I feel a major improvement in my mood, my physical well being and also my mental clarity!
