Family Setting Up Kids Lemonade Stand When Pasco Gunfire Rings Out [VIDEO]

KNDU-TV NBC Right Now reports that 49 year old Richard Howard was shot and killed by S.W.A.T after a long stand off in Pasco at 5714 Sacramento Drive. This video was apparently taken near the scene as gunfire erupted.

Officers initially went to the house Wednesday night after neighbors reported Howard firing a gun several times. When officers arrived, police say the man ran inside, and continued to shoot at the officers.

Police evacuated nearby homes and the S.W.A.T. team surrounded the house for about two hours. Around 10:30 or 10:45, police say Howard came outside waving a long rifle in a threatening manner, so a tactical response team member shot and killed him.
