Even in a smaller community like Prosser, police are kept busy with a wide variety of sometimes bizarre or unusual events. Check out these entries from the last week, straight form Prosser's Police log:  (from December 1st onward)

*Verbal disturbance reported at Love’s Truck Stop in the 700 block of Wine Country Road. The Reporting Party advised a male would not give her back her car keys Officers spoke to the male who advised he flushed the car keys down the toilet and the two parties then separated for the night.
*Phone scam reported in the 1400 block of Meade Avenue.
The Reporting Party advised someone posing from the Social Security Office called her and said that her Social Security Number had been used to buy a vehicle that was now found on the Mexican border with blood, bullet holes and 90 kilos of cocaine in it. The RP also advised she bought Google Playcards and loaded them with a large amount of money and gave them to the scammers. Officers advised the RP to not give out any more money or personal information.
*Weapons complaintin the 1200 block of Bennett Avenue
. The Reporting Party advised they almost got into a vehicle collision and the other driver pulled out a gun. Officers followed the
suspect vehicle into the Prosser Memorial Hospital parking lot
. The male driver was found inside the clinic and stated that he held his hand out the window and shook his finger at them in a “finger gun” motion. The male agreed to be searched and no gun was found.
  Seems like there's never a dull moment when you're an officer, even in a smaller community like Prosser.
