Swim Suit weather is just about here! And we all could probably stand to shed a few pounds... Lots of people have lots of theories about what works best for them.

For ME, I have to eat CLEAN! Which means: Fresh Vegies, some fruit but not a lot. I have to cut my carbs, (but occasionally eat sweet potatoes)  And my biggest challenge of ALL... I try to LAY OFF the Sugar!

I find if I increase my natural fats,like avocados and nuts, I don't crave sugar so much!

I don't eat a lot of meat, so I rely on Quinoa and nuts for protein usually.

And of course, whether you are trying to lose weight or just keep healthy, I think it's important to dedicate at least 1 full hour of exercise a day! Walking, running, cycling, hiking, etc...No ladies vacuuming doesn't count!

Oh and I also think Weight Training is important. Building and keeping a good muscle mass, increases metabolism, and keeps your bones healthy as you age! Plus 'SKINNY' is never attractive. But, nicely toned I think does and is good for you! Oh one last thing...Cut Alcohol! Drinking alcohol makes you FAT! It just does! Get over it and keep it to a real minimum or cut it out all together!
