Don’t Fear the Heat: ‘River of Fire’ Will Have Cooling Tents

A-One Refrigeration & Heating is setting up cooling tents in Columbia Park on July 4 so you can come enjoy yourself starting at noon without fear!

The temperature is predicted to be about 90 degrees when we kick off at noon and will rise steadily, peaking about 5 p.m. at 103 degrees. It will then cool slowly until we light the fireworks just after dusk.

Festivities begin at noon with a welcome from Congressman Dan Newhouse, messages from a County Commissioner, Kennewick Mayor Young, a representative from the Daughters of the Revolution and more!

We'll have activities for kids all afternoon and the bands take the main stage at 5 p.m.
