Dolly Parton visited Fox & Friends on Tuesday (Aug. 23) to discuss her new album, Pure & Simple, but also revealed the release date of her upcoming Christmas film.

Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love will air on NBC on Nov. 30. The film comes a month after the Oct. 18 release of Parton's children's book, Coat of Many Colors.

Parton's original film, Coat of Many Colors, aired on NBC in December of 2015 and drew an impressive 15.9 million viewers.

“I was so overwhelmed and touched by how many people watched Coat of Many Colors and their reaction to it,” the country icon says in a press release. “The song ‘Coat of Many Colors,’ of course, has always been my favorite and has touched so many people through the years, especially me. It is a true story from a very special time in my childhood. I am so happy to share this story with the viewers and to say there is so much more to tell because mine truly has been a life of many colors. I hope the viewers will fall in love all over again."

Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love will continue the storyline with the characters introduced in last year's movie. This year's film will follow a Christmas when Parton’s father and his children sacrificed what they wanted for themselves so that he could buy Parton’s mother the wedding ring he could never afford to give her. Additionally, an important figure in Parton’s life will also realize that she is destined for musical stardom. Parton will appear in the film.
