A disabled man was awarded $8,000 by Disneyland after the “It’s A Small World” exhibit broke down, stranding him in a boat for a half hour.

According to court records the award was for pain and suffering, and disability law violations.

Jose Martinez the awardee, uses a wheelchair, suffers from panic attacks and high blood pressure. At the time of the incident all of his conditions were aggravated by the need to urinate.

The incident occurred in 2009 but the award was ordered Friday, March 22nd of this year.
