Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is holding their annual "Dinner In The Dark "event on September 15th. This event is designed to give you a first hand experience of the world in which the blind and visually impaired live.

Attendees are asked to put on a blindfold when they enter the dining area. There will also be a silent auction  as well as a no host bar.

The host Eric VanWinkle shares his  life experience growing up in a home where his father is blind and what challenges and experiences he had that shaped his life.

When I attended a few years ago, I was amazed at what an enjoyable  experience it was and how much I learned about how people live visually impaired. It's not only a learning experience, but also an enriching, inspiring one. I hope you all will plan to attend. I think  you will really enjoy it!

September 15th at Richland Clarion Hotel.  1515 George WA Wy in Richland.6-8:30pm. Tickets are $35.00 per person.  Or a table of 8 table sponsorship for $350.00. Call for more information at (509) 735-0699
