Company Christmas Parties! A Thankful Moment for Faith Martin!

Our Band The SHADES have played at least a couple of hundred Christmas parties over the years...

It's really a unique perspective from the stage, to look out and see how co workers intermingle or NOT! To see how Managers relate with their employees etc.

It's fun to see people let their hair down a bit and relax and have some fun with people whom they normally share stress of the work day with!

It occurred to me recently, that there really is something to be said for standing the "Test of Time" with a company, or a relationship of any kind really!

I've worked with many of the same people over the past 25 years! We have known each other through good and bad, and really have watched each other "Grow Up" through the years. We've all probably hated each other or had some 'falling out' over the years! But through it all...I have to say I have grown to love and appreciate every single person in my company like they are family.

We all have kind of gotten to a place with each other where we truly know in depth more about each other and love and accept each other completely for our talents and our short comings!

I'm thankful that I've had the opportunity to work through the hard and challenging times as well as the good. And have come to such a place of gratitude for these great people that I work with! I've never been happier in my job! And just wanted to say that is a lesson for me. To remember that if you can stick through the hard stuff, the outcome is so very rewarding! I hope it's the same for all of YOU! This was a pic from last year...we didn't take a group photo this year darn it! But you get the idea...I work with a GREAT BUNCH!
