Summer is VERY quickly coming up and it will be time to find something productive for your kids to do. Smaller kids can be easier to keep occupied with day camps, away camps, sports, arts & crafts and other activities. However, it can be sometimes hard to find things to keep the minds of a teenager active and having fun at the same time! If you're looking for something cool your teens will enjoy AND that will give them a leg up, check out this Summer Career Camp being offered by Big Bend Community College.

“Serious Gaming: Search and Rescue” day camp is scheduled for July 16th - 20th. The camp is for children (teens) 12 to 17 years of age, and the goal, "is to show kids some of their options for programs at BBCC and careers after college." Space is limited to 65 participants. Cost is $175 per student before May 30, $225 per participant after May 30. Lunches will be provided during the camp. For more information, or to register for camp, contact kristenm@bigbend.edu.
