You miss high school or college theater? Have you thought of getting back on the stage? Or have you always wanted to try acting, but never given a shot? Well if you're an actress in your 20s 30s or 40's here's your chance! The Richland Players are having auditions for their next show, Vanities. Written by Jack Heifner, the show is about three women and their friendship through three time periods. "In 1963, Joanne, Kathy, and Mary are aggressively vivacious cheerleaders. Five years later in their college sorority house, they are confronting their futures with nervous jauntiness. In 1974, they reunite briefly in New York. Their lives have diverged their friendship, which once thrived on assumption as well coordinated as sweater sets, is strained and ambiguous. Old time banter rings false. Their attempts at honest conversation only show they can no longer afford to have very much in common." Directed by Cyndi Kimmel, this 3-woman show is promising to be funny, infuriating, fascinating, and fantastic!
The final night of auditions are TONIGHT (September 11th), at the Richland Players theater. They are looking for 3 female actresses in their 20s 30s or 40s who can play the same character at multiple ages. All experience levels welcome to audition.
