Bears In The Air! Tri City Americans Teddy Bear Toss is Saturday

This coming Saturday, December 8th, is the Tri-City Americans annual Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss Game at Toyota Center.

The Americans will be taking on Lethbridge, and fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the game. When the Ams score their first goal, you toss the animal on the ice, where they are scooped up and donated to a wide variety of charities in the Mid-Columbia.  It's very cool!

And it inspires the team to get it done fast!  Most years, the team score pretty quickly because they want to get the animals on the ice and done.
