‘Barefoot Bandit’ Tried to Raise Funds to Cryogenically Freeze His Mom!

I didn't think there was much promise to crygencial freezing! But, apparently the Barefoot Bandit, believes strongly that it could have saved his mother's life.

The "Barefoot Bandit" is the young man who avoided police for months and even hijacked an airplane to Bahamas? He tried to raise $80,000 to cryogenically freeze his mother before she died of lung cancer this week. He is currently in prison but will be released this summer and says he already has a job offer in the Seattle area.
