Born in Seattle, raised in Montana, I fell in love with radio when I was in high school. Not just radio, but the idea of “being on the radio!” When the college students went home for the summer I got to run the local 10-watt operation on the local campus! Auditions were held and at age 16 I got my own radio show. It was only three hours a week and for no pay, but it was just the experience I needed to get on a local professional station and actually get paid for it! Over the years, radio has shown me the great United States of America, landing jobs from Orlando, Florida, to Wasilla, Alaska, including Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and the legendary W4 Country in Detroit. I love it!

After 40 Years, No More Chili & Cinnamon Rolls for Richland School Lunch

Apparently, delicious chili packed with protein and fiber -- not to mention whatever that thing in tomatoes is good for ya (oh yeah, lycopene), plus the cinnamon in a cinnamon roll is crazy good for you...I mean, it's a bark, so it's off a tree which...I guess a tree is a vegetable... does not meet the nutritional requirements of a bunch of overweight suits who met on the topic.
