Don’t taunt a sheep unless you want to end up getting rammed (pun intended) like the girl in this video. This sheep goes nuts after a nasty little urchin tosses a coconut at its head. Luckily for the rude girl the sheep’s ramming instincts have preceded the development of his horns. Check out some retribution, sheep-style, in the video below
Google turned 13 Tuesday, and the search engine celebrated its big day the same way it has every year since 2002 — with a special anniversary doodle.
This year’s effort, a staid, retro birthday party scene, doesn’t quite seem befitting of a newly-minted teenager. But, then again, 13 is pretty ancient in Internet years.
It’s a testament to Google’s popularity that whenever they shake up their home page with a doodle to commemorate a special event it’s big news. Wish Google a happy birthday by checking out this complete list of every Google Doodle. We’ve posted a few of our faves below. Happy birthday, Google!
A couple of pint-sized bear cubs stopped traffic in Yosemite National Park recently when they staged a playful wrestling match right in the middle of the road.
Nearby motorists reacted to this adorable scene by saying things like “I want one,” and “Oh, please come to my car.” Luckily, nobody acted on these impulses because — as you can see in the video below — mama bear was carefully watching her charges from the side of the road the whole time.
The 377,487 residents of Raleigh, the state capital of North Carolina, have something to cheer about as their city has been rated the number one city to live in the nation by Businessweek.com’s first-ever ranking of America’s Best Cities.
Foul tips are one of the perils of playing the catcher position in baseball, but one doesn’t usually associate fire hazard with that risk. In the video below, a foul ball off the bat of the Chicago White Sox’s A.J. Pierzynski hits the mask of Detroit Tigers’ catcher Alex Avila so hard that sparks fly.
If you happened to be in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina recently, and were struck from the sky by chunks of partially digested food, it probably wasn’t a large bird with some sort of stomach ailment that did you in.
No, instead you were likely the victim of a man named Jay, who doused the scenic landscape with puke four times during a hang gliding lesson.
In this latest edition of animals loose in stores, two baby deer found themselves inside a Publix supermarket in Suwanee, Georgia.
The fawns tempted fate by wandering over toward the meat section, where they were scooped up by store employees. Unfortunately, the video ends before we learn if they were returned to their mother or fell prey to the butcher.
