This summer I had the pleasure of spending a few days up at Flathead Lake at my Sister and Brother in-law's cabin. I have been there a few times, and often wondered if I should trailer the horses up there to ride in the mountains. I recently noticed this story in the Missoulian News. I had always wondered if there were Bear up there...
I spent a much needed time away this past weekend at Conrad Meadows. I think I must be the last soul alive to finally go. I had heard about how great it was for so long.
We took the horses and on Saturday we rode up to Surprise Lake. It was a gorgeous ride!

After the wonderful events at the South Ridge Sports Complex on Sunday, I headed out of town with my boyfriend Tony to Potholes Reservoir. We decided to take the horses and go explore!
Sunday’s event at the Southridge Sports Complex in Kennewick was an awesome event! If you were there, you know how moving the whole experience was.
Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is holding their annual "Dinner In The Dark "event on September 15th. This event is designed to give you a first hand experience of the world in which the blind and visually impaired live.
Attendees are asked to put on a blindfold when they enter the dining area. There will also be a silent auction as well as a no host bar.
The host Eric VanWinkle shares his life experience growing up in a home where his father is blind and what challenges and experiences he had that shaped his life.

We were thrilled to hear of the miraculous story of Scott's challenges and recovery after losing his sight from a suicide car bomb in Iraq.
