There were a couple of times when Travis Rybarski needed a place to stay and he was welcomed in at 'My Friends Place'  It gave him the boost he needed and a warm, safe place to sleep until he could figure out what to do next. Now Travis is helping to raise funds for the Homeless Teen Shelter in Kennewick!

King of the Dot, the biggest battle rap league in the world, is making their first ever appearance in Eastern Washington to bring you: “HIGH-NOON”

WHAT IS THIS:
- The biggest Washington battle rap event of 2015
- The return of local hip-hop legend Bryson Foster

WHO:
- Tons of battle rappers from Oregon, Utah, Canada and more
- Also featuring a performance by local favorites Karma and Nobi

WHERE:
- The beautiful and historic Uptown Theatre in Richland, WA

WHEN:
- Saturday, August 15th from 7:00-Midnight

WHY:
- To raise money for our local teen shelter, “My Friend’s Place!”

HOW:
- With the generous help of the Uptown Theatre, King of the Dot and our sponsors, Famer's Insurance and Tri-Cities Community Federal Credit Union.

Here’s a couple additional details:
- The event is open to all ages, and besides the profanity will be fairly kid-friendly.
- Tickets are available for $10. Admission at the door will cost $15.
- Water and soft drinks will be sold in exchange for donations to My Friend’s Place.
