I often wonder if Dad's REALLY realize the importance of the role they play in a child's life! I look around at my co-workers...many whom are father's and I see how hard they try to be a good dad to their children. And it warms my heart!

I find myself, wanting to tell them how great and how important that is! And, how even though it has NOTHING to do with ME, I want to THANK them profusely for being such a good Dad!

For those of us who did NOT have a good experience with a Dad in our life, I think we notice that a little more than most. Yes, sometimes it's out of sheer ENVY! But, mostly it's out of appreciation!

Because, when you've been adversely affected by a negative experience of someone in that role, or by the complete absence of that person, you know how that can affect you for your entire life!

Remember, no child expects their Dad to be perfect! It's not about that! It's about feeling loved by a parent that is supposed to care about you!

So, to all the kids that have a DAD to tell they love this Father's Day, Appreciate your Dad, like CRAZY! And cherish the moments! And hopefully all you Dad's out there, will just LOVE your kids and make them a priority!!

I'm grateful that I have an Ex-husband that loves our kids! They are all grown up now, but they still need their Dad! And he's always been good at letting them know how much he loves them! And that makes me happy! And now my youngest has his own son and he is loving his new role as Father! (note the featured picture)

So, get along with your Ex if you have one! Because it can only make matters better for the kids! And have a wonderful Father's Day Weekend!
