The world lost a news icon Saturday, when at the ripe old age of 93, "60 Minutes" mainstay Mike Wallace passed away. Mike Wallace was the first person hired back in 1968 when CBS was putting together the crew for it's new program "60 Minutes". At a young age I can recall watching "60 Minutes", sitting in front of our black and white TV waiting for the stop watch to come onto the screen, tick, tick tick,tick, followed by. "I'm Dan Rather, I'm Morley Safer, I'm Harry Reasoner, and I'm Mike Wallace, these stories and more, tonight on 60 minutes".  I learned a lot about politics in those early years, and will never forget Mike Wallace Interviewing John Ehrlichman, just as the Watergate scandal was about to bust wide open, and right from the get go, Mike Wallace had him on the ropes. It didn't go well for Ehrlichman. In one interview, he had Barbra Streissand in tears. Just goes to show you, we're all on the clock, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick....
