1) Schedule your fitness times for the week and stick to it. I’m too busy in the morning so I schedule my hour at the gym between 5pm and 7pm. This gives me time to see and eat dinner with my family and still have a life in the evening. Do what works best for you, if you’re a morning person, go for it! Just make sure you schedule the time and STICK TO IT.

2) If you’re just beginning don’t over-do it. Start slowly with low weights and reps. There’s no need to go a complete hour from the beginning. Maybe start with a 15 – 20-minute workout and gradually work up to 1 hour within a few months.

3) Eat the right foods and more often. I eat five small meals a day. This helps keep my metabolism up and I’m rarely hungry when I get home after work. Oh, and eat more FRUITS AND VEGETABLES!

4) Drinks lots of H2O and take vitamins every day. Pick up a water bottle and sip on it all day. You’ll feel better!

5) Recover! Get plenty of sleep. Americans don’t get enough sleep. Exercising on a regular basis will help.
