21 Reasons To Make a Trip To Seattle This Summer!
From the Olympic forest, to the glimmering sea, the mountainous trails for hiking, biking or horse riding, to the nightlife, entertainment, sports games and more!. The West side of the mountains of Washington is filled with a million reasons to cross the cascades!
But, there is one more that is not on this list! (Teeheee)
Okay, here it is, don't ya think it's just SO liberating to go someplace where NOONE KNOWS YOUR NAME?! WHOOOO HOOOOO! It's so freeing! There are so many people there you can almost disappear!
You can wear what you want, not brush your hair that day or dance like a crazy person in the middle of a city block street and you'll most likely never even be noticed! And if you are, you'll never see those people again anyway so whataya care right?
I suppose I do all those things here but, you get my point. I suffer a bit of humiliation or embarrassment when I'm out and about not looking very presentable! And doing some of the crazy things I do. But, living in a small town where we are out in the public a lot, means you always run into people you know at the grocery store, the gas station, the mailbox, the movies, any event etc.
In fact, the last trip I made to Seattle I was just over the pass and stopped at a rest area and was standing in line in the woman's bathroom when a lady said...'Are you Faith Martin?' Funny, she was very nice and that is always fun! But, you get my point...I imagine that kind of thing doesn't happen very often in Seattle!
I once was on a cruise ship in Mexico (yes, on the Topless Deck) and sat up to put on sunscreen and someone said..."Hi Faith" Well, she was topless too...so there! but, it was kind of funny. Both of us apparently had flown out of Tri-Cities to San Diego CA and boarded there for the cruise! It's a small world for sure!
