Kennewick Soldier Robert Ellis Died in Afghanistan

Robert Wayne Ellis, from Kennewick WA, was one of four soldiers killed in Afghanistan on Tuesday. KEPR spoke with Robert's mother, who stated that her son's death was likely caused by a mortar or rocket. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 7 PM at Grace Baptist Church in Kennewick.
